  • SAMBUCUS NIGRA (ELDERBERRY) FRUIT EXTRACT

    A botanical deeply rooted in the landscape and folklore of Europe, Elder has been cherished for centuries. Native to much of Europe and now widespread across temperate and subtropical regions, its fragrant white flowers and deep purple-black berries have long been gathered by foragers for their culinary and traditional uses.

    The berries are naturally rich in powerful bioactive compounds, including rutin, hyperoside and chlorogenic acid. In traditional Scottish herbal practice, Elder has long been valued for its soothing and protective properties and its use during seasonal colds and flu.

    In our skincare, Elderberry is our hero antioxidant - chosen for its ability to help defend skin against oxidative stress associated with premature skin ageing. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties help protect and nurture the skin, while supporting a brighter, more even and healthy-looking appearance.

  • ASCOPHYLLUM NODOSUM (EGGWRACK) EXTRACT

    A common cold-water brown seaweed found throughout the North Atlantic Ocean.

    Rich in fucoidan, betaines, mannitol, organic acids, polysaccharides and amino acids, it also contains high levels of the carotenoid fucoxanthin, which gives the algae its characteristic brown colour and helps protect it from sun-induced bleaching.

    In cosmetic use, these bioactive compounds are valued for their antioxidant and skin-supportive properties. They can help support collagen and elastin production, protect against oxidative stress caused by free radicals, maintain skin hydration and support the skin’s recovery following sun exposure.

  • TRIFOLIUM PRATENSE (RED CLOVER) EXTRACT

    A perennial flowering herb found throughout much of the world, red clover has a long history in traditional herbal use and has often been associated with good luck.

    Rich in bioactive compounds, including isoflavones (phytoestrogens), biochanin and polysaccharides, red clover extract is valued for its skin-supportive properties. It has been shown to influence tyrosinase activity, an enzyme involved in melanin production, which may help support a more even-looking complexion.

    In Western herbal medicine, red clover has traditionally been used as a skin remedy, particularly for soothing eczema and itchiness. In skincare, its bioactive compounds are valued for their potential brightening, barrier-supportive and anti-inflammatory properties, while also supporting collagen production and overall skin resilience.

  • AVENA SATIVA (OAT) EXTRACT

    A species of cereal grain that grows particularly well in Scotland, oats have long been valued for their nutritional and skin-supportive properties.

    Rich in essential nutrients, including protein, dietary fibre, B vitamins and minerals—particularly manganese—oats also have a long history of topical use. Their use in skincare dates back to Ancient Egypt, and oat baths continue to be used traditionally to soothe eczema and irritated skin.

    In skincare, oat extracts are valued for their soothing, moisturising and protective properties. Their water-binding and emollient qualities help support the skin barrier while relieving feelings of itching and discomfort. Oats can also help improve the appearance of dry, rough and flaky skin, leaving the complexion feeling softer, smoother and more comfortable.

  • ROSA CANINA (ROSEHIP) FRUIT EXTRACT

    A climbing wild rose native to Europe, northwest Africa and western Asia, often found scrambling through hedgerows across the UK. Its delicate pale pink flowers give way to bright red-orange hips, which have long been valued for their nutritional and skin-supportive properties.

    Rosehip is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidant compounds. It naturally contains vitamin A compounds, including trans-retinoic acid, and has a long history of use in traditional herbal medicine, where it has been valued during convalescence and for supporting wellbeing during colds, flu and inflammatory conditions.

    In skincare, rosehip is prized for its nourishing and regenerative properties. It helps support the skin's natural repair processes, maintain hydration and soothe sensitive or stressed skin. Its antioxidant-rich composition also helps protect against oxidative stress and supports smoother, more even-looking skin.

  • HIPPOPHAE RHAMNOIDES (SEA BUCKTHORN) FRUIT EXTRACT

    A hardy shrub native to the coastal dunes of eastern Britain, sea buckthorn produces vibrant orange berries renowned for their exceptional nutritional and skin-supportive properties. The oil is extracted from the fruit pulp and is naturally rich in vitamins, essential fatty acids, lipids, amino acids and minerals.

    In Western herbal medicine, sea buckthorn has traditionally been used to support resistance to infection and to soothe skin eruptions and irritation.

    In skincare, sea buckthorn is valued for its nourishing, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps support the skin's natural repair and renewal processes, protect against environmental stressors, maintain hydration and promote a smoother, more even-looking complexion.

  • HIMANTHALIA ELONGATA (SEA SPAGHETTI) EXTRACT

    A brown algae commonly found throughout the Baltic Sea, North Sea and North-East Atlantic Ocean, Sea Spaghetti is named for its long, ribbon-like fronds.

    Naturally rich in vitamins and essential amino acids, it is also a valuable source of minerals, including calcium, iodine, magnesium, manganese and iron. Traditionally valued as a nutrient-rich marine food, Sea Spaghetti has also gained recognition as a skin-supportive botanical ingredient.

    In skincare, Sea Spaghetti is valued for its moisturising and antioxidant properties. Its bioactive compounds help support skin hydration and collagen and elastin production, while helping to protect the skin from oxidative stress and supporting its recovery following environmental exposure.

Camellia Oil

Cold-pressed and organic. A highly nutritious oil, great penetrator of the skin, high in oleic acid, omega 3/6/9 and vitamin E. Reduces skin blemishes, firms the skin, helps recovery from over exposure to sunlight.

Murumuru Butter

Extracted from the seeds of the Astrocaryum Murumuru tree. Known for its anti-inflammatory and bactericidal properties. Rich in oleic and linoleic acid, promotes nutrition and moisture to the skin. A powerful skin barrier repair agent, an intense natural moisturiser used to help restore elasticity to damaged and ageing skin. An excellent emollient, helps the skin to retain water by creating a protective film. Helpful in treating sun damaged skin, eczema and psoriasis.  

Macadamia Oil

Organic, mechanically expressed from the harvested nuts of the bushnut tree. Regenerative oil, helps heal scars and sunburn. Contains more palmitoleic acid than any other known plant oil, locks in moisture. Promotes youthful skin, diminishes rough skin, improves skin barrier function.

Rose Flower Water

A pure, premium, organic rose water. A by-product of steam distillation of rose essential oil. Soothes skin irritation, reduces redness, has powerful antiseptic properties, enhances mood, has a beautiful relaxing aroma.

Squalane

Vegetable squalane derived from olive oil. Provides elasticity to the skin, regulates moisture loss due to deep moisture retentive properties.

Evening Primrose Oil

Organic, expressed plant oil high in gamma linoleic acid. Smooths and moisturises skin, enhances elasticity. Promotes healthy, clear complexion, acts as an anti-irritant.

Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides

A light, odourless and colourless liquid coconut oil that has been refined in order to remove the solid waxes. Excellent emollient, it's mix of fatty acids replenish the skin and help it to retain moisture. Suitable for all skin types, non-comedogenic.

Aloe Vera

Excellent emollient, reduces redness and inflammation. Aids wound healing, antiseptic, antibacterial, soothes skin irritations, helps reduce scarring, hydrating and soothing to the skin. Relieves discomfort of sun exposure and helps condition the skin. Organic.

Hyaluronic Acid

Binds water and intensely hydrates the skin. Made from enzymes from a bacteria based biofermentation process. Approved for organic cosmetic formulation.

Propanediol

Vegetable propanediol is a natural, skin friendly ingredient derived from corn sugar. Excellent moisturising properties, does not cause skin irritation.
Acts as a preservative enhancer, improves absorption of active ingredients. Based on rapidly renewable raw materials.

Acmella Oleracea Extract

An extract of the plant Spilanthes Acmella. Also called nature’s botox. Instantly smooths the surface of the skin helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines, plumps and firms the skin, protects the skin barrier.

Bisabolol

Sourced from the Candeia Tree. Calms down problem skin, protects the skin from daily stress and pollution, smooths the skin, soothes itchy, dry and irritated skin.

Cucumber Extract

An emollient and humectant, high in nutrients and vitamins, beneficial to sensitive skin and around the eye area. Helps to soothe and cool skin irritations, reduces puffiness and dark circles around the eyes.

Safflower Oil

Organic, produced by the mechanical expression of the seeds. Also known as thistle oil. High concentration of linoleic acid and omega 3. Reduces irritation and redness, anti-inflammatory.

Apricot Kernel Oil

Obtained by mechanical crushing of the apricot nuts. Light and easily absorbed by the she skin. Soothes sensitive skin, softening, nourishing.

Glycerin

100% vegetable derived, palm-free humectant. Hydrates the skin, improves skin barrier function, protects against skin irritation.

Castor Oil

Expressed from castor beans. A rich, sticky plant oil with excellent cleansing properties. Reduces inflammation.

Sunflower Seed Oil

Supports skin's natural moisture barrier, softening, smoothing and restorative to the skin.

Rapeseed Oil

A carrier oil with a full spectrum of fatty acids. Packed with antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties.

Tocopherol

Also known as vitamin E. A powerful antioxidant naturally derived from non-genetically modified soy bean. Helps to slow down oxidisation and helps sustain the shelf life of products.
Protects the skin against environmental damage. Acts as a humectant and emollient and provides excellent moisturisation properties.

Acacia Senegal Gum

A natural thickener, stabilizer and texturiser of vegetable origin. Obtained using a sustainable manufacturing process. Approved for organic cosmetic formulation.

Caffeine

From green coffee bean. Supplies the cells with oxygen and nutrients, acts as a natural stimulant to skin. Promotes blood circulation, reduces puffiness, transports other active ingredients more quickly into the skin. Reduces the appearance of dark circles. Approved for organic cosmetic formulation.

Xanthan Gum

A natural thickener, stabilizer and texturiser of vegetable origin. Obtained using a sustainable manufacturing process. Approved for organic cosmetic formulation.

Vanilla Extract

An organic vanilla extract from vanilla beans. Soothing, comforting, pleasing. Blends beautifully with other oils for a delicious scent.

Blue Tansy

Also known as Blue Chamomile. Sweet, fruity and herbaceous. Cooling and soothing. Supports the respiratory system and calms the nervous system. Excellent in skincare, particularly with irritated, sunburned or blemished skin. Harmonises and balances the emotions by easing feelings of stress, anxiety and sadness. Organic.

Bergamot Essential Oil FCF free

Sweet, citrussy and fragrant. Refreshing, immune supporting, antiseptic and digestive. Uplifting, anti-depressant, self empowering, supports confidence, aids in self expression. Free from bergapten, non-phototoxic and safe to use in sunlight. Organic.

Rose Essential Oil

The oil of love. Sensual, rosey, honey floral scent. From rose petals which are hand picked at dawn when the fragrance is at its best.  Sweet and fragrant as a perfume, antibacterial, antioxidant, nourishing in skincare. Mood boosting, calming, comforting, restores harmony. Helps to open up the heart area and be open to love. Organic.

Rose Geranium Essential Oil

Beautifully fragrant rose-like, sweet and floral scent. Supports the endocrine system and helps to balance the effects of hormones. Useful in aiding elimination of fluid retention and congestion. Excellent in skin care for hormonal and mature skin types. Balancing and harmonising to the emotions. Organic.

Clary Sage Essential Oil

Smoky, warm and herbaceous. Very relaxing, eases panic and nervous tension. A useful tonic for the female reproductive system, can help ease premenstrual tension and cramps. Said to aid sleep and facilitate lucid dreaming. Organic.

Frankinsence Essential Oil

Sweet, spicy aroma with slight notes of anise and mint. Excellent for dry and mature skins due to its anti-inflammatory properties, good for after sun exposure. Supports deep, gentle breathing which helps to calm and clear the mind making Frankincense one of the best oils for meditation. Organic.

Lavender Essential Oil

Refreshing and floral. Pain relieving, antiseptic, anti-itch and skin healing properties. An etheric antiseptic, cleanses the body on a physical and energetic level. Can be helpful for calming headaches, is blood cleansing and very supportive of the lymphatic system. Eases stress, insomnia and restlessness. Organic.

Lemon Tea Tree Essential Oil

Strong, bright, fresh. Uplifting, grounding and cleansing. A powerful antiseptic with anti-microbial and anti-histamine effects. Can be used to combat inflammatory skin conditions, aids sleep and concentration. Organic.

Calendula Extract

Calming properties for the skin. Helps with minor burns, eczema and inflammation. Organic.

Hydrogenated Ethylhexyl Olivate

A natural vegetable alternative to silicone derived from olive oil. Excellent skin moisturiser, restores suppleness and elasticity. Approved for organic cosmetic formulation.

Cetearyl Glucoside

From olive oil. Part of our emulsification system, approved for organic cosmetic formulation.

Cetearyl Olivate

A vegetable derived emulsifying ingredient. Generates liquid crystal structures that mimic the outermost layer of the skin. Deep moisturising effect. Approved for organic cosmetic formulation.
