Elder Or Not Skincare is a Scotland-based skincare brand created in the heart of beautiful Perthshire. We specialise in high-performance, natural skincare designed to support skin through perimenopause, menopause and beyond - a time when hormonal changes can affect how skin looks, feels and behaves.

We believe that skincare should adapt to the changing needs of skin. Our formulations effectively harness the calming, healing and regenerative properties of natural ingredients to deliver fast results, leaving you with happier, healthier and glowing skin.

As estrogen levels decline skin can become drier, thinner, more reactive and slower to regenerate. Blending carefully selected active ingredients with botanical and algae extracts, our products are formulated to calm irritation, support the skin barrier, encourage regeneration and restore balance.

Elder Or Not Skincare was founded by Aija, an organic cosmetic formulator, esthetician and complementary therapist. With decades of hands-on skin knowledge, Aija understands the ageing process and the unique challenges faced by menopausal skin.

Her formulations are inspired by Finnish mythology, traditional plant wisdom and a lifelong passion for foraging and the natural world. Blending science, tradition and intuition, Aija set out to create skincare that is highly effective and beautifully natural - and Elder Or Not Skincare is the result.

THE PAUSE & BALANCE COLLECTION

Skin sensitivity and reactivity are common, especially during hormonal transitions. Through extensive research and meticulous formulation we offer natural skincare that is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin types. We take a seasonal approach to skincare and believe in uncomplicated routines that support the skin’s natural rhythms. Our goal is to help you achieve calm, healthy, glowing skin with little effort, even through hormonal change.

Our first range, Pause & Balance, was created specifically for menopausal and perimenopausal skin that needs extra care and support. The products work in harmony as a complete skincare system making it easy to build a simple, effective four-step menopause skincare routine that supports skin through hormonal change.

While developing this range, we also introduced a product for hormonal teenage skin, recognising that many of the same calming and balancing plant ingredients benefit skin at different hormonal stages. Every formula has been refined, tested, and reviewed by real people with very real skin concerns.
